Sanity's Baby - A Roman Polanski Inspired Typeface

Sanity's Baby is a Roman Polanski inspired typeface. The concept driving the design of the typeface is relating to his use of limited sets within his films and the paranoia of the characters specifically in his apartment trilogy.
The inspiration for the typeface came from a composition of various 3D letters that are displayed at varying angles and then stacked upon each other. The reason behind the character's 3D style is to relate back to how Polanski created an atmosphere of claustrophobia within his apartment trilogy. The angles of 3D letters create a look similar to how walls within a apartment would meet. Then the stacking of the letters to embody the feeling suffocation and claustrophobia that he creates within his films.
